smps master's
thanks for sharing this nice project
and sg3525 is good choice not hard to find
does the core used by most pc psu rated in 400w is the one called etd49?
how about the core can be found in an old pc monitor?and some old crt tv's is this useful for this project?

We can do something regarding those cores, I think they are ER39 or ER33 ones, they still can make 500W at least

If you have succeeded into splitting the cores without crashing them, show some pictures here, I might be able to help!

Dont forget that the PCB is Designed for ETD49!

oh. it is a big trouble for me. i cant find it in Vietnam and on mouser ,farnell or digikey.

I have a friend in European but in UK and distrelec not available in UK.what a pity

Now i find someone in Germany to buy it for me.

Any other transformer with 20VAC 3 ~ 5VA output will do the JOB, even an external one!

ludo,
what is efficiency and switching frequency of that SMPS? why don't you use filtering inductor's at smps output ?

Transformer

@Khron

N27 core with 22 Turns at primary of current sense transformer

@Rumsas

230Vac Main
75Khz
Voltage with no load : 110V

4A load : 106V
8A load : 102V
12A load : 97V

Load are 424W - 816W - 1164W

Primary winding are 10 x 0.1mm wire

Secondary 15 x 0.1

Hope that helps

Inductors, they should improve performance, but ludo got a nice results!, but they can be added
I think he needs 15uh on -26 core material

Thanks, MicrosiM, but that was a bit vague...

The "primary" of the current transformer should be that thick wire jumper, right?

So the current transformer "secondary" (that goes to the protection board) will need 22 turns around a... T50-sized ferrite toroid core?

100% correct

a Thick wire goes Through the core is the wire used to feed the ETD49

and the 22 Turns goes to the protection card
