Almani Class D Car Amp Driver board - Please help me substitute smd transistor

Hi everyone,

I am very new to class D amps and also new to this forum.
This is my very first class D amp repair. I accidentally placed one of its driver board on top of the main board with energized 60V electrolytic capacitors. I heard a snap then when I placed these 2 driver boards back, it smoked a resistor. I checked that very small transistor and it is now shorted (Base-Collector I guess)

I scratched its varnish or glue and couldn't see the number.

Please give me tips how to substitute this or maybe someone knows the exact number of this.

Please help.

Do you know if its either pnp or npn?

Hello Silvio,

Thank you for the reply!

Yes I just tested it earlier today. I didn't had the time continue checking whether it was NPN or PNP yesterday.

I discovered 3 busted. Luckily, each one got busted from the other board is not busted to the other one. So I was able to test.

I was also able to scavenge tiny transistors from scrap LCD monitor powersupply boards. Without knowing the exact value, it just accepted it and sounded fine in low volume without MOSFETs heating. Will test this one again tomorrow.

I just don't have oscilloscope to test its pulses because I am just really starting to get into these things :)

I will save and buy one soon...
