I am new to this forum, and I did not know where this should be.
Hey guys i am attempting to analyze this DC/DC SMPS on a computer ******board.
Here is a shot of what my USB oscilloscope shows, someone told me i am not in the right mode?
A little info, its a 12v to 1.5v(variable) step-down buck converter topology, output I=0-200A, for a computer CPU. Its a 8 phase design. i am measuring the ripple in AC coupling with my probe in 1X position and soldered to the output ceramic capacitor. The coaxial cable is shielded
1ms/div and 20mv/div.
Here is a shot of the output:
What is wrong with this measurement? ripple reading is correct compared to other sources.
