I'm interested in making SMPS Buck converter to convert 12V DC into 6.3V DC - load 8A max.
Do you have any recommendations for the driver IC that would suit my purpose?
I was thinking of basing my design on LM25085 but i don't like it's VSOP8 package, hard to test the design. Are there good drivers for SOIC, TSOP or DIP package that have good examples in datasheet?
