I asked you not to post more questions Yakub.

I said that i do not appreciate your kind of character (personality)

I do not want to teach you or to answer you, also i am not interested to be your friend.

Too much challenging person, also do not understand that some basic things i do know 50 years long, and you insist to remember me the very basic things...this is ridiculous.....you make me feel alike a retarded guy...can you imagine after 50 years building and designing amplifier if i do not know the basics?...only if i was menthally retarded!.... and you go trying to check my step by step procedures?... come on!

Man, you cannot imagine how much you will make damage to this forum, as you are making me loose interest...i have no more patience to tollerate people alike you anymore.

If your intention is to learn from me.... give up...i will shut my mouth not to teach you things as i feel myself offended by your behavior..and if teaching to the forum means teach to you..then i will stop to teach to the forum not to help you.

Last answer to you... from now on you will ignored.

What did I write bad or wrong? I do not need to learn from you. I just asked about some measurements, not simulations. You know nothing about my personality. Im am really sorry, I dont want to have a conflicts an arguments with You. I know some quite good people which design Amps, and their work is visible.

I am removing myself from this forum because of Yakub... contestatory, offensive guy.. a challenging person that does not know, in advance, who is the one he is attacking beeing unkindly.

I came from this forum having the guarantee that no one will bother...that boring guys would be kicked out immediatelly.... that these things would never be acceptable...and this not happened.

I have invited many friends to this trap....forum is behaving the same bad way others do... giving freedom to this kind of thing..and not monitored..in my imagination, forum owner and moderators are not on line reading what is going on here..so... we are without supervision... abandoned and people can do whatever they want.

He was banished and returned saying will behave fine..... was not truth...did the same once again... and continued into the forum.

So, he will be here...i am out.

Michelle....multisim is a wonderfull simulator

The last one is awsome....all features...also can produce boards layout...also can do that automatically or Eagle style and works great...export data in GERBERS too....so, it is complete and i suggest you to search for it... hgigly recomended...have awsome quality, precision and easy od use... comes from the old and good, the traditional Electronics Workbench that i am using these last 22 years.

It has videos in the site teaching you how to operate...has test version to download and internet has cracked versions too....it is big...around 500M

Type Multisim on google and be happy!

regards,

Carlos

Andrewlebon...... or Michelle..... i have returned to Multisim 10.....i have deleted the Multisim 11 because it cannot receive transistor database from others.... the database from my version (not POWER PRO) does not have MJE15032 and MJE15033, also does not have MJE1302A and MJE3281A ... so...no good to me.

I have made contact with National Instruments about that..the man told me that we cannot merge (copy) transistors from one version to the other version..also that files from one version does not work with other version...so...they are making a big mess with that.

Multisim 10 has the parts i want...so..i am back to multisim 10

Carlos

Multisim must be always Power Pro versions....or will not be very good.

The real trouble with Multisim is that you must use always the POWER PRO VERSIONS, or you will be in troubles about transistors...i have changed computer and was very difficult to install the Multisim..... finally i could...the new computer is better but it is very demanding with software and gave a lot of work.

Carlos

You do not imagine the wonderfull amplifier that is inside this computer....the MAKO is "state of the art".... a magnificent amplifier..... the result of half century of investigations, research and experiences with audio amplifiers.

I will use these heatsinks to test the MKIII and the MAKO.

Well...i have two prototypes assembled (ugly to show you for a while)...and they are using smaller heatsinks.

I do think to test with 500 watts RMS for a couple of minutes may result fine..... i have the obligation to produce 500 watts RMS, at 4 ohms, with distortion smaller than 0.004% THD.... this means that i can play music at 250 watts average and test it continuous for the time heatsinks reach 80 degrées centigrades.

Well...the prototype already assembled using 4 output pairs have smaller heatsinks and are showing me these ones may work for music.

Better to be 2 times this size to the MAKO..but maybe good to the MKIII.

I will use these plastic diodes as heat sensor to control the stand by bias.... will be less than 3 miliamperes to each power transistor.

I am having fun...i like to check these things..will this result enougth?.... i do think will be good for music...but for continuous tones will overheat.

Boys...these heatsinks and power transistors are for one channel only.... to stereo i have to double geatsink size or much more than that... maybe a couple of fan will be the solution..operating 5 to 8 volts they do not make too much noise .

regards,

Carlos

Yep..... massive..very robust..... but some transistors are for CCS, not really for power output purposes.

Thank you,

Testing a new small board

I am testing it using 12 plus 12 volts supplies..... 10 transistors are auxiliary, 6 transistors are stages...2 power transistors to operate low power...the amplifier can operate from 4.5 plus 4.5 volts till 100 volts..automatic amplifier (ahahahahahah!)

More 10 pairs (20 transistors) will be added in the output to operate full power....much bigger than 1 kilowatt easy and laughing..can reach 2 Kw depending how much distortion you can accept and tollerate.

regards,

Carlos

Congratulations Mr. Moderator... very fair your promotion as you are one of the best Brazilians about speaker knowledge...a very respectable guy to this forum.... very welcome your promotion.

Health is better, and i am playing with MAKO prototype using a very small supply... 12 volt and less than 1 ampere... a few watts available..only for tuning purposes and to play with...nice.... very nice... this amplifier sounds great, absolutelly powerfull... an earthquake to our home.

Carlos
