Hi All,

This is my 1st post and I apologize if it is in a wrong section. Please feel free to delete or move to the right section.

I have a 9W LED bulb and it has a transistor like SOT92 IC marked as 51LP and beneath it marking F48, which is blown up.
I want to repair this and coudln't find the part nor a datasheet to see if possible to find a substitue.

Attached are few shots.

Thanks

Hi Master Silvio,

Many thanks for your reply and the link.

I am not sure about this but it could be TL751LP. This is a low dropout voltage regulator

here is the link for the datasheet https://www.alldatasheet.com/datasheet-pdf/pdf/28831/TI/TL751LP.html

Regards Silvio

I got the pdf and as per page 2 the "ORDERING INFORMATION" table and the "TOP-SIDE MARKING" column, it does not include any matching markings for "51LP F48" as per the listed/below:

TL750L05C
50L05C
51L05C
750L05C
TL750L05C
50L08C
750L08C
TL751L10C
50L10C
51L10C
750L10C
50L12C
51L12C
750L12C

Since you are a master and this driver circuitry confuses me, then I need to ask isn't this circuit a buck converter so it needs a pwm ic?

I managed to find a datasheet but its in chinese and hope it helps.

Much appreciated.

There exist a 3 legged chip such as the TOP family like TOP221 which is used as a flyback buck converter. I am sorry to say that a chip with that name 51LP I never heard of. I guess you will be better off buying a small PSU that can power your leds. They are very cheap from E-Bay or Aliexpress.
