I have been given the task to make a universal input(85-280v) with 220v ac output. the primary aim is isolation, I don't want to use isolation XFRMER as it will not buck boost. I have a plane to do like it. PFC+half-bridge+sin-wave convertor. or PFC+1T forward+sinewave convertor. My question here is whether there is a simple way to do with out too many components.
