My 1KW Commercial SMPS

Hello,


Here I present my 1000W SMPS for audio amplifiers, this SMPS was carefully designed to outperform any SMPS in the market compared to its size and power capabilities.

Input voltage 110 or 240 / selectable

Possible Output voltages:-

+- 53, +-64, +-78, +-93, +-104. (Unregulated)

AUX1: +-15VDC (Regulated)

AUX2: +-24VDC (Unregulated)

AUX3: +18VDC(Regulated)

ALL AUX voltages can be changed.

FAN output +16VDC

Power: 1000W cont, 1800W PEAK

Size 12.2CMx 26CM

Protection: UVLO, Thermal, Over Current, Short Circuit.



More details,

1- SMPS faces 6800uf per rail without entering the protection mode (AT POWER UP).

2- FAN keeps running even when the SMPS enters the thermal protection.

3- Additional connector to connect EXTERNAL thermistor to sense Amplifier tempreture.

5-All AUX outputs are protected.

6- ZCS resonant SMPS in compact size.

7- Facing 1KW Load at start-up without entering protection mode.

8- 2KW Peak power for 3 Seconds.

9- Very small heat sinks and low profile.

10- No vertical PCBs! all SMD on one side.



Any Interested people may buy a sample at this stage, to test the SMPS.



I only give the option for any one meet the MOQ to assemble the SMPS, as manufacturers.

I woud be very very happy to see how it.performs in my aleph 2 vs a 1400va toroidal and 414000uf rails.

Thank you, I also would like that, Hope to do it very soon.

But as I mentioned, the SMPS will never start-up with the huge capacitance you have mentioned! !!!:

However, I guarantee 15 ~ 17A output current @ 85~90VDC (because voltage will drop at this current from +-53 VDC)

I drew 16.3A @ 157VDC from the +-94VDC version. for 5 seconds.

Huge peak currents from this small size SMPS,

Continuous test condition were performed:-

IGBTs hit 87C, output Diodes Hit 110C this test was done for 6 minutes, without FAN @ 1100W Load

Yes, this SMPS uses the highest quality electronic components. and really they cost too much when you buy them in quantity of 20 ~ 50 like IGBTs and special capacitors.

I hope that this SMPS will be tested by many folks around the world to show the performance of this SMPS, while there are MANY SMPS units being sold all over the world, but I never been satisfied with there results.

Forcing the IGBTs to perform under 90C with just a small fan is not an easy task

The PSU looks good and as others I need a price before comitting to buy.
I am planning a mobile application where mass and power consumption matters.
How is efficiency at 100% load?
What is the mass?

Regarding Prices,


All who got the prices via PM, please be aware that these are the prices for sample including Shipping and Paypal fees.

please understand its because these are samples, and they cost me too much.


But the next order will force the price to be MUCH lower


And I hope from every one to check www.coldamp.com or www.hypex.nl and see price of there SMPS units including the shipping cost + Paypal fees.

Therefore, my SMPS is not lower in quality nor performance.


I am open for any pricing discussion, please say what's in your mind
