some information about professional audio speakers

The "KF 650" is a fake EAW speaker. EAW stopped using phase plugs like that in the 90's. There are several chinese companies that try to make KF looking speakers, and are using the missile phase plug again....

I love EAW too... So I looked it up. before 1995 EAW used the missile style phase plug. Then the patented a flat insert for 650e and have used it in ALL of their 10" speakers ever since. I found an original KF650 from the early 1990's and it has the missile plug. I am also attaching the current KF650z which has the flat radial phase plug.

Note that the 650z, second edition z, came out in 2001. The JPG is the e series and between 15 and 20+ years old.

That looks nice, EAW is robust thing really , I tried it many times


I will put some pictures of the KV-2 Audio speakers when i pick some, they are outstanding speakers!
