Hello.

I would like to share my testing experience with the (SYSTEM_D Class-D amplifier using IRS-2092 designed by ChocoHolic)

This is a 400W @ 2 Ohms Class-D amplifier that was developed by ChocoHolic at diyaudio, I bought my PCBs to test the performance of the amplifier, and to conduct some critical tests at my SMPS units, comparing the performance with some other SMPS in the market.

The assembly process of the amplifier is not friendly, and its not for beginners, I had to wait a few weeks to collect all of the components from RS-Electronics.

The amplifier was assembled and tested to be fully working at +-30VDC for pre testing purposes.

I am showing a quick video of the amplifier loaded 2Ohms, supplied by my UNREGULATED 600W SMPS.

As we can see, the SMPS is dropping only 8 Volts at around 360W RMS output, From (+-44VDC) 88VDC to 80VDC at 2Ohms 1KHz Sine Wave.

The Amplifier just got little warm at full load for 30 seconds 1Khz Sine Wave.

Any comments are welcomed..
