hi microsim.
i cant hear the sound. so where will be the problem?
can u tell me how to adjust the idle current.

Idle current adjustment, connect ameter in serial with the + 60V

But this wont make the amplifier working, WHILE you told me the relay is working.

please show me a picture of your setup.

Please check PCB you have made, is it same one I have uploaded last?

hi microsim.
so to adjust idle current, with the fuse or 10 ohm resistor in +60vdc rail in series?
i thoroughly checked the layout of u last posted ,only one change in the new layout. that alexx mm mention that mistake.so that is the only change in the layout.
in the new layout some parts values are different. so i put new layout parts.
thanks.

You have to follow the parts list for parts values

Remove the fuse, and put DMM, and measure current

hi microsim.
here is my sphere images.
some leds not working with idle current. i change the led and now when i power on the amp the idle led lights on.after three sec the relay led is on.
now i am trying to adjust idle current.
i remove the fuses and put 10 ohm 1w resistor in place and i put the dmm probes in posistive rail in series , and set to .300mv. is this correct.

I think this is the normal status

but one LED should be OFF , (D1)

when you play with idle current pot, that LED will turn ON, but the amplifier will draw huge current at that stage. so

Keep your idle current between 12 ~140ma, play with POT.

do you hear sound or not?????

hi microsim.
my d1 led is always on , u said it shoud be off. so what is the problem.

When you feed the amplifier with audio signal.

Do you hear any audio coming out from the AMPLIFIER?

WHAT THE????????????

in your pictures, there is no output devices installed? how do you expect it to work?

man. com on

hi microsim.
i feed input signal and sound quality is fantastic, fantastic bass clear sonic, no hum ,amp is working.
i adjust my 10 ohm resistor to 300mv .
i m verry happy.

Ok, thats very good

Did you install the output transistors? 2SA 2SC?

your idle current should be 140ma, adjust that

Show new picture of the amplifier with output devices if possible.

Good luck!

hi microsim.
what is the dcv for the 140ma. so i can adjust it.
i adjust mine is 300mv so i think 30ma per pair.
so 140ma devided by 30 =4.6, and 300mv *4.6=1.380v dc.
to get 140ma i have to adjust 1.380dcv in rails.
is this correct microsim?

now i dont have the camera, i will post image asap.

hi microsim.
now im preparing for other channel.
can i use 2n5551,5401 instead bc546,556?
thanks.

The only thing you have to do is connect your DMM at 200ma scale, and measure current in series with the +60V rail, that's it

You have to check datasheet for those transistors, and make sure they meet the same pin configuration.

Thanks

hi microsim.
i tested with 10 ohm resistor instead fuses and adjust dmm probes in series +60v rail 40ma no heat , but 50ma getting little heat on heatsink.

another broblem is near the relay there are two 2watt (1.8k,3.3k)resistors geting very hot.

I think all of that is normal.

Hi MicrosiM !
I have a transformer with a 300W/2x27ac - DC-power supply 2x36Vdc!
What should I change on this amplifier to operate at this voltage symmetrical?
Or tell if you are able to another good amplifier for this power supply (2x36Vdc).
Output pair of amplifiers to be with bipolar complementary pair.
thanks and cheers

I dont know the exact reason for this.

But replace them and try again, test the transistors, also check for bad solder.

update me with results

hi microsim.
i replace the resistors with half watt resistor but same problem. in both pcbs those resistors burned. i checked the transistors but transitors ok.
the amp is working in this condition,

Hi MicrosiM
I want to ask one question: Where can include AC-voltage protection with diode D10 to eat and have a schematic of power supply for this amplifier?
thanks and cheers!
