This amplifier was based in the Blameless from Doctor Self, modified, CCS to VAS removed and bootstrap inserted to feed VAS... also some "tuning" was made and resulted one of the best wide world audio amplifiers i have ever listened too.... astonishingly high audio quality, awsome performance in measurements, perfect audio reproduction, crispy highs, lovely bass and clear voices...THD distortion is lower than 0.002%... power is 100 watts 4 ohms and 50 watts 8 ohms and can work from 20 to 45 volts supplies without any circuit modifi***ion (using 50V insulating capacitors of course)

I will be back soon, to post images and to start this thread that will be excelent for the forum, for you dear friends that will be the chance to read and for me, as i feel very happy when i see people building my amplifiers and when i can teach something to beginners.

This amplifier was tested and assembled by 4 Brazilians and 18 guys from another international audio forum...no complains... all them said it is a superior, almost unbeatable amplifier.

I can guarantee this one can eat the amplifier you are using today..and can do that easy.

Thanks to Doctor Self and thanks to my sweat and tears tweaking it for sonics.

Sorry Tess if this bothers you..in my country we call Doctor people that knows a lot....not only Medicine guys...or PHD people....Doctor Self, the way he is known everywhere, in my mind is a Doctor, as he is the one teached people that are in University and people that is writing books and designing amplifiers to important factories.

Doctor here means "Very important person".... a super skilled, highly qualified man.

Some folks have PHD, cannot polish his shoes.

Metal...i do not know the dimensions...latter i can measure and inform you these dimensions..they are small, 16 Volts insulating voltage..maybe 6 milimeters diameter.... i have not time to measure now.... this is the reason why i hate Eagle..ask us these details.

Hello Metal.


We will start soon two topics.

1- for 1KW SMPS complete DIY, from scratch.

2- for CAR amplifier SMPS, since I never came across this, but will work on it.


We all here want SMPS, I am not Proffessional, But I will write what I know, And all of you will help make it real.

One thing also, CARLOS amplifier needs some modifications to work on +-50VDC supply? We have to ask our amplifiers Expert first.

Yes... electrolitic condenser should have voltage increased to face 50 volts, in the original they can be 35 volts...and output will need an extra pair...bigger heatsinks.... we can adjust be boostrap too...but we can let it the way it is too.

Thank you Carlos, it is nice to gather here indeed. Thanks for Microsim who made it possible.

I considered such issues in the new PCB for bigger CAPs, but I have a PCB version for the Dx Blame that suites two output pair and will be published as soon as the CAR SMPS is finished. I thought this big version has gone with the wind, but sure it will find its way for the CAR amplifier version.

Well Tess...i am sorry....i am so tired of idiots i have met in diyaudio forum...

that i have not more patience..when people looks alike them, i react immediatelly with something alike you had.

There, people use to show themselves bellow the spot ligth doing foolishes, commenting obvious...many of them are empty, have not to say and post foolishes....obvious things...alike an idiot thinking everybody is idiot alike himself.

Maybe i was unfair with you..well..future will show this clearly to both of us.
