I am going to build my first LLC smps and I found few nice looking controllers.
First one from Farchild, integrated with mosfets

The second one from IR:

Both are simple for DIY'ers. If you ask Mr. google there is a lot of pdf's with example's.
My question is if there is a worth of constructing LLC smps for audio or better of stay with hard switched old school type ones.
And If someone can explain me a bit what kind of differences in design I have to produce good LLC converter - I mean, amount of capactance after diodes, transformer size versus standard smps design etc.
