i've a question, that i guess a lot of diyers have.
eu tenho uma questão, que eu acho que muitos diyers tem.
how is the kind of wire that is the best of to use between power supply and amplifier, also amplifiers to transistors, that are mounted in heatsink outside from amplifier?
qie tipo de cabo é o melhor para usar entre a fonte de alimentação e amplificador, também entre amplificadores para os transistores, que sao montados no dissipador fora do amplificador?
and talking about this, would it be interesting shield this wires ?
e falando nisto, seria interessante blindar estes cabos?

Resistance is very small..also currents are not that big that needs cables thicker than a telephone wiring.
These things are myths created by the ones wants to sell you their stuff dear Gustaff..... all lies..only to make you buy expensive golden cables.
Use the cable, or wire, you have at hand....and ask the ones use to say these things to you to study a little bit more instead to spread myths all around.
To shield is alway a good idea but also you will produce a huge current of noises going to your chassis if it is grounded and receiving the shield..and this is not very good too..also shielding is coaxial and you can have shorts because of defective wire insulation in between the shield and inner conductor.
The place people is saying this... a forum...is a desert of knowledge you should avoid, not to polute your mind with these kind of doubts.

Pioneer Amp Converted to Beautiful Blameless
Hi Carlos
I have now finished my third Blame amplifier. The ST. This used to be a pioneer surround 5 channel amplifier. The pioneer chip amplifiers were removed. Re-used some pioneer 0.22 5w resistors. Made up a couple of Blame ST's and installed in double decker configuration. Had to connect power to the old ******board to get the lcd display to function properly.
I originally was using the old pioneer pre-amp section to power the blame amps and also I could use the treble/bass functions from the old system as well. I found this to sound like **** and I wouldn't recomend anyone to connect the Blame to a pre amp. Maybe a good quality pre-amp may sound nice?
So I bypassed the preamp section and conected the Blame amps to the input changer relay(actually a IC chip). Now it sounds as it should, and I can still change inputs via the dial on the front, including tuner input.
I recomend this to anyone who has an old amplifier spare. Turn an old crappy amp into a beautiful sounding one whilst gaining the advantages of a tuner and also less parts to buy.
This Amp is now going to be given to my father so he can finally enjoy some quality. Just have to find some good speakers to match.

Tenho que agradecer ao tio Carlos e ao Miguel Nabuco por me proporcionar tamanha satisfação no mundo DIY. Ontem a noite consegui terminar a montagem de 1 canal do meu Blame ST e só tenho mesmo que concordar com todos os comentários sobre ele: totalmente silencioso, sem aquele puff ao ligar. Não pude testá-lo completamente pois também vou ter que montar o pré do Nabuco pois minhas fontes de áudio não dão mais que 200 milivolts na saída. Agora tenho que terminar o outro canal e terminar o pré do Nabuco. Muito obrigado Carlos e Nabuco pela satisfação do mundo DIY.

unstalled immediatelly....the modifications you can see in the last post video[video=youtube;C8QvgUAct_c]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=C8QvgUAct_c[/video] was made...but the colector resistance was supressed...no good sonics...also the input 47uf was reduced to standard because blurred the bass.... the rail voltage step down regulator was installed and video shows.

My Dx Blame ST, the home edition, with some modifications i have made in order to...
match some personnal needs..i am not suggesting people to do this way..... i am just showing (in portuguese from Brasil) brazilians what i have done.
