Hi MicrosiM!
I want to create an SMPS for stereo amplifiers with LM3886/4oms or TDA7294 (2x35V/2x4A)?
Here is of this example lorylacy SMPS?
This power supply has short circuit protection on output ?
Please if you are able to more information about ferrite transformer ?
I have a ferrite transformer with a rectangular cross-section of 198mm2's now interest me as how the winding wire lacquered with that section to the primary winding and winding as the secondary is wound on to get power from 2x35V/2x4A?!
thanks and cheers

Stupid Question. How to regulate the output voltage precise enough, not having a feedback ? Or is it only usefull when variations are permitted ?

Hi lorylaci!
What about protection against short circuit at the output and the soft start??
And if you let ... where is the image of the created SMPS ??!
thanks and cheers !

As I understand this smps operates as LLC-converter. The diodes connected to resonant capacitors clamp any resonant overvoltages thus limiting the primary current on a cycle-by-cycle base. With properly selected MOSFETs and Diodes it is short circuit protected - and does not require a soft start.
