i`have done mounting this amp into CPU casing. Second module i didnt make any pre-test upon finish all component because i`m very confident with this amp. First power up i just make little mistake by connecting +/- HV to +/- LV, hahahahaha, and i`ve protection power up signal when i see led power for +/- HV does not turn on. So i`ve check many time with component all is correct. After few power on and off, there is no fuse blown, at each power rail and at main supply. then few mins later i just check power supply connection and i found wrong connection between +/- HV and +/- LV. i just made error when connecting +/- LV with +/- 130 vdc and +/- HV with +/-65 vdc.

But there is no component burn or blown, even fuse all is fine. Then i correct it back for the power supply connection, and YEY!! amp is up and come with clear music and powefull, i`ll post the picture later here with full setup. I use 2.5 KVA trafo wind by myself which i keep it long time ago. I didnt use it before i dont have high power amp for it. Now i have 2kw class H amp which i think match for this 2.5 kva trafo :D .

To anyone who want high-end and powerfull amp should get this amp for stereo and its hard to burn this amp with fully working protection :D . Thanks to Microsim for the design and help from MJ777 for helping me. Full volume and play with hard bass almost no distortion at all :D

best regards,
Azmi.

Thanks Azmi.

This Amplifier is power full, I have some schematics for commercial class-T, but no time to test or build any

Hi Azmi,

Big Grats to you.
I have this amp too but trafo is my problem. Can you help me wind my own trafo?
I have EI core lying around with the below measurement:

Center leg: 42mm
height: 126mm
Width: 84

I'm planning to make two trafo with 10A each but i don't know the following:

Primary turns
Secondary turns
Primary wire size
Secondary wire size

Any help will be highly appeciated. Thanks in advance.

BR,
Junie

Thanks Junie, I dont actually know how to wind linear trafo from zero, what i did is i have this trafo which already have 220-240 primary winding, i just need to wound myself for secondary. this trafo actually use for the step down 220 to 120. and for the primary it use awg17 for winding. so i use 8 x 2 17 awg for secondary and i spend almost 2kg of coil at secondary. When i push very high volume the main switch at my home will turn off and i think this trafo suck very big current which i need 3 phase for it :D .

Measured today output at full volume 62.0 vac. This amp has been powered at +130 +65 0 -65 -130 from 2.5kva linear trafo, caps bank 71v 6800 x 12, but i think caps bank still not enough... i`ll post full amp picture here soon. damn... i should get 1 more pair for this amp... hahahaha :D .

Sir Azmi, It is really nice to hear that your are happy with this amp, right now even me is excited to finish my amp, I will use a 140-70-0-70-140 volts dc from 20 amperes secondary EI core transformer, the transformer itself weighs 27 kg thats why I think I will gonna use a rack mount cpu server case to put this amp all together. Congrats to your build,
best regards,

Thanks MJ, yeah big case for big amp is good. Its worth of build, i use cpu case cooler master its suitable for this amp and weight. I might think maybe need separate within power supply and amp. Maybe 2u rack?

just got my EI core transformer

the set up of my amp will look like this when I get my case, powered by a 20 amperes 100-50-0-50-100 transformer.:)
