Dear Sir Norazmi, you can use any to220 ultrafast diode rated 16 to 20 amperes ex. MUR1620CT/MUR1640CT, on my board I used BYV410-600 from NXP semiconductors.

ohh, Thanks for the replay MJ777. I`ll post the progress here until this amp finish.

one more can u take high quality picture with large size so i can refer to it, since this amp have many components so i need carefully mount it for the first time.

here is the photo progress for class-H amp, almost finish, maybe this week i can power it up, testing voltage will be dual +/-35 vdc. MJ777 please check your email and since i dont have 2SC3503 and 2SA1381 so i`ve change with MJE340 and MJE350, also MPSA13 i change with 2N5551. If u have any suggestion please tell me :D .

best regards,

Those two transistors MUST be mounted on main heat sink, they heat alot, around 70C

Take that into account

Hi Michelle, yep i know, the original schema use BC546 actually, and MPSA13 has been modified by MJ777. But as owner said this amp should work as schema, so i`ll give it a try and see. I`ll only test with small trafo about 50va +/-35 vdc for safety. So changing BC546 with 2N5551 should not have a problem there.

regards.

i`ve got dc offset 0.002vdc. testing voltage +68 / +34 / 0 / -34 / -68 VDC (Using ir2153 smps) with dual trafo configuration. All run smooth, no component overheat. I`ll test the sound today hmmm... wanna listen to class H amp how deep it can run. Later i`ll do with increase the supply voltage up to double +/- 45 so it will be +90 / +45 / 0 / -45 / -90. What do you think MJ777 and Microsim ? :D .

best regards,
Azmi.

I dont use MPSA13 and i use 2N5551 (originally BC546, so i do rotate 180 degree for 2N5551 pin exchange) but i believe BC546 will do, no trace cut it work like Microsim state at schematic.

For +/- 15 vdc i use shunt regulator using tip142 and tip147 with resistor and zener diode taken from +/- 34 supply at same PSU and it work nicely. Relay delay at start up about 4-5 secs. :D

Its is very nice to hear that Sir Norazmi, you will enjoy this amp, currently i'm in the philippines for vacation that's why I'm really busy and haven't open my e-mail, but Sir microsim is there to help if you have encountered any problem.
